RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT NEWS

The WMCS R&D group is constantly improving and extending the existing firmware versions for all their products. Although it is general WMCS policy to release firmware that is equal for all end users we are open for requests of customers that need special features to be added and implemented into customized firmware. This page will report on general features that are added to our firmware, available to customers when required.

Another ongoing activity of the R&D group is to develop new devices based on the latest technology, or in some cases on special request of a customer using large numbers of units with special demands.Upcoming overall devices will be published here when running in their field tests.

December 2007

LM130. A lite and low cost version of the AM120. Prototyping and field duration tests have been started.

January 2008

AM120. Test version availble for reading multiple temperature sensors (type DS18B20) using the embedded 1-Wire bus. Each sensor must be connected to external power to reach high sensitivity over the full temperature range.
