The DT120 is initially developed as a front-end data terminal for the AM120 enabling direct interfacing with several main AM120 features like its message system and voice system.
Already during development it became clear that the DT120 fills a gap in the data terminal market because of its small size, graphical display, many additional features, and its very flexible development system that enables easy and quick creation of personalized, tailored, and language specific, menus.
As such the DT120 might be used in many types of application, apart from the AM120, where complex interfacing between any standard device and the outside world is required.
